Life is long, but it goes so fast

Today I had a special encounter. A street was blocked, but the workers who were working at it told me that I could just walk through to the other side, so I did. But they didn't tell me that the street was completely fenced. I was very hesitant to climb up the fences, partly because I'm small, and partly because I'm clumsy. And a girl appeared, long black hair, perfect red lipstick, all dressed a little too cold for the weather but looking very nice, in her early 20's - the kind of girl I would never talk to in a million years. I said "those guys are funny, they said we could walk through!", she answered "nah! I think we're funny!". She said "ok, there's no way out of here, so let's climb! come on!". She put her cellphone in her handbag, put the handbag on the floor, and found a simple way to climb up the fence. I said "I don't know if I can do this", she giggled and said "yes! come on!". I climbed, she helped me down, we looked at each other, laughed, and then she said "well! nice to meet you!", and walked away.

Virginia Satir used to say "Any encounter, even if it's for 5 seconds, can be a healing encounter"...
